ASKI, LBP ink agreement to enroll clients, staff in e-banking
ASKI and Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) signed a memorandum of agreement for the improvement of ASKI’s cash management solutions through electronic and other alternative banking products held on March 12, 2015 at Talavera Agricultural and Social Enterprise Training Center, Brgy. Sampaloc, Talavera, Nueva Ecija. LBP offers ATM payroll facility and Landbank visa card for ASKI employees and ASKI clients as well. This will provide hassle free and on time payment of employees’ payroll. While the clients’ loan proceeds will be loaded directly to their ATM cards instead of over-the counter check encashment.
Moreover, LBP will also provide Point-of- Sale (POS) terminal facility to facilitate the authentication of payments and/ or cash withdrawal using locally issued ATM cards, debit cards and cash cards. The weAccess Facility with monetary transactions is also included which provides internet-banking solution. Electronic Payment Portal System (EPP) and Electronic Tax Payment System (ETPS) are also internet-based payment system that will allow ASKI and its clients to make payments easier and faster. The agreement will take effect on May 15, 2015.
